SRK detained at Mumbai airport

The fresh news making rounds is that Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan was detained at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai for moving with overloaded baggage. As it has been suggested, Shahrukh had landed in Mumbai on Thursday after spending his vacation with family in London and Holland and he was in detention at the airport for carrying nearly twenty bags without paying the custom duty for them.

While King Khan was taken into custody for investigation, his family was permitted to go back home. Discussing about the incident that happened, a source stated that SRK had gone on a family holiday to Holland and London. When he was returning back he was carrying with him about twenty bags. Thus, the customs officials at airport investigated him. As a result, Shahrukh Khan was asked for a fine of Rs. 1.5 lakhs for the overloaded baggage he was carrying with him and was released from detainment only after paying the fine.

Customs commissioner, P M Govande told that he was interrogated but it is a regular thing. Whenever people bring belongings they have to pay duty on it. It was nearly R 1.5 lakh and the interrogation took time because he was carrying a lot of stuff with him. As heard when SRK was taken into custody, the custom officials treated him like any other common passenger and not like a Bollywood actor. Shahrukh didn’t went through any special treatment from the officials at the airport and was not even allowed to make phone calls for help. The superstar is gonna pair up with Kareena Kapoor in a upcoming sci-fi film Ra. One.

Shiv Sena assaults SRK

Shahrukh Khan has come under assault from Shiv Sena once again. This time the superactor is being criticized for celebrating while the Mumbai is facing the sad moment at the loss of lives in the bomb blasts that happened on Wednesday last week.On Freroiday evening, Shahrukh Khan organized a get together of close buddies where a private screening of Hrithik Roshan recent release Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was held.

According to the Shiv Sena it has been claimed that the screening was followed by a party with concern t Katrina Kaif’s birthday. Besides Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan,Arjun Rampal, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Chunky Pandey, Karan Johar and Abhay Deol were present at the bash.Farhan also mentioned it on microblogging website twitter thanking Shahrukh for the super celebration. This annoyed the members of Shiv Sena who called Shahrukh a villain.

On the other hand, Shiv Sena’s paper stated many well-known personalities had decided to skip their birthday and Guru Poornima celebrations in view of the blasts. Even actress Aishwarya Rai had declined to receive an honour granted upon her by the French Government on the day of the blasts.Immediately after the blasts, Shahrukh Khan had expressed his sadness on Twitter stating that he is devastated and upset by the loss in Mumbai. Ra. One that also features Kareena Kapoor in the lead will cast Shahrukh Khan in the character of a superhero.

SRK wants to work with Black Eyed Peas

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is making every possible effort to make his forthcoming superhero Bollywood movie ‘Ra.One’ continually attractive and pleasurable. Well, the superactor few days back approached the American group Black Eyed Peas to sing a song for his forthcoming project. It seems like, Bollywood superstar, who is a big fan ofthe band, approached them when he had attended their concert while holidaying in London with his children.

SRK will be sharing the screen space with Kareena Kapoor and wants to use the band’s song for promotional reason. The Bollywood king, who has made ‘Ra.One’ for his kids Aryan and Suhana, wants to give a special treat to the viewers. After having made Akon sing a song in the movie, now SRK has signed in the Black Eyed Peas for a song, which he is looking forward to use for promotional event.

Talking about Shahrukh’s communication with Black Eyed Peas, it has been mentioned that Shahrukh and his children-particularly daughter Suhana-are big fans of the music of Black Eyed Peas. They did not obviously miss the chance to be present at a concert of the band while spending time in London earlier this month. Shahrukh Khan made a recording suggest to the band for Ra. One, however talking with them after the concert. Things are at a budding stage now and the band is still to give their approval.

Shahrukh will portray two avatars in Farhan’s ‘Don 2:The Chase Continues’. The theatrical trailer of the much hyped flick is out, even before its official release in theatres today. Entertainingly, for one look the star dons long hair with salt and pepper beard and for the other avtaar he is clean shaven. The first look of the movie, which will be released along with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, shows SRK sporting a D tattoo.

Ra. One an action-packed film

It has been learnt that actor Shahrukh Khan is pulling out all the stones to make sure that his sci-fi superhero forthcoming movie Ra. One is a blockbuster hit at the box office coming Diwali. Shahrukh has now signed Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra on board for an action packed sequence in Ra.One.

Both Sanjay Dutt and actress Priyanka Chopra were roped in to the film because Shahrukh and Ra.One filmmaker Anubhav Sinha felt that the flick could be zest up with a little more action. It is needless to mention that Piggy Chops shares a great understanding with Shahrukh Khan, they were seen together in the film Don and the to-be-released Don 2,

and when Shahrukh asked Priyanka she immediately cancelled her trip to America and flew back to shoot for the sequence. On the other hand, Bollywood talented actor Sanjay Dutt has never worked with Shahrukh in a movie, but both SRK and Anubhav were so much so overwhelmed by Sanjay Dutt’s beefed-up look in Karan Johar’s upcoming movie Agneepath that they could not refuse to go along with casting him for an action sequence in Ra.One.

SRK’s close buddy Karan Johar helped out by gladly giving Sanjay a few days off from shooting Agneepath so that he could shoot with SRK for Ra.One. Now both Priyanka and Sanjay Dutt will feature in a ction sequence just like castle in the sky. The movie also stars actors Arjun Rampal and is set to be released worldwide on October 26, 2011.

Salman praises SRK

Bollywood’s bigwigs Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are still continuing with their rivalry, their well-known quarrel started three years ago at Katrina Kaif’s birthday bash, a present Katrina still hasn’t forgotten what had happened at that time. Although Shahrukh did tried to patch up and even apologised on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffe With Karan, Salman Khan just wasn’t paying attention, alike to how he once ignored actor Vivek Oberoi who also dated Aishwarya Rai.

On the other hand, in a current interview, the Dabangg star has astounded us all when he was inquired about who he thinks is the best male star in bollywood, and shockingly Salman replied, Shahrukh is a remarkably endowed actor of Hindi film fraternity . Salman also added that SRK could come into the industry at any time and still be acknowledged and unbeaten. But if we look at the other side of the coin, Salman is predominantly fond of actor Ajay Devgan, and said that he is straight forward, down-to-earth and devoid of any arrogance.

SRK decided to experience Knee injury in Mumbai.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has decided to undergo the knee surgery in Mumbai by doctor Dr Ali Irani. Earlier it was reported that B town actor Shah Rukh Khan undergo the surgery in US. But now it is reported that the star will undergo surgery at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The surgery is tentatively scheduled on July 25. As per reports the reason behind this change of place is the upcoming of bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan Ra One. Shahrukh Khan wants to look on the promotional activities of his highly budget film.

Even suffering with a knee injury which is creating problems for him, Bollywood megastar Shahrukh Khan made sure the lack of top celebs did not gloom the light at the IIFA night, charming the audience with his presence and clever speech.Shahrukh, who was seen walking with a bit limp ever since he landed in Toronto for the IIFA weekend, was greeted by his crazy fans wherever he went.

It was heard that the awards ceremony was about to start nearly two hours late, audiences just surrounded Shahrukh Khan the moment he was on stage with hosts Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh.SRK as reported, gagged with the duo, hosting the IIFA awards for the fourth time, the actor even said that both Boman and Riteish were bad hosts and how they should improve themselves to do a good job next time. The more than 20K crowd did not even mind the silly gags of Boman and Riteish, as long as Shahrukh was visible on the stage.

Shahrukh Khan was attending the IIFA after a fissure of six years and also bagged the best actor trophy.
