Shahrukh Khan’s magical words to Flower girl

We’ve heard stories of King Khan touching lives of many people,only this time it will be seen on the big screen ! The short feature film tells the story of flower girl at the traffic signal whose life takes a turn when Shahrukh Khan speaks a few magical words to her.

The Hindi film,directed by theater pro Makrand Deshpande, titled “‘Shahrukh Bola Khoobsorat Hain Tu”, will premiere at the International film Festival of India (IFFI) 2009 in Goa. The director commented, “The film is about a poor girl who sells flowers at a traffic signal and how her life changes after a chance encounter with King Khan, who rolls down the window of his car and tells her, “Tu Khoobsurat Hai”.

The eleven day long festival jointly organised by Directorate of Film Festival and Entertainment Society of Goa will showcase seven other films,including two in English and Hindi and one each in Kannadda,Konkani and Marathi. Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat announced the list of premiers during a press conference.The festival will be held from November 23 to December 3.

Shahrukh Khan is currently working on the post production process of the movie,“My name is Khan” and will start working on his upcoming flick “Ra One”

“My Name is Khan” release date finalised

News to be happy about !! The release date for the much awaited film My Name Is Khan has been announced.The movie which will be presented by Fox Star Studios,Fox Searchlight and 20th Century Fox International is all set to hit the cinema theatres on the 12th of February,the coming year. The movie,directed by Karan Johar, starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol will be released in India as well as over 40 countries including the UK, USA, Australia, Middle East, New Zealand and Canada.

My Name is Khan tells the story of Rizvaz Khan(played by Shahrukh Khan) , an atypical Hero who sets on a journey across America to win back the love of his life.In his journey to search his ladylove, he inspires all who pass his way.

His other upcoming movies in the year 2010 include Farah khan’s Happy New Year.The star will once again give his voice for an animation flick Kochie Kochie Hota Hai.He had lend his voice before, for the animation The Incredibles.

Sharukh Khan,the Superstar is the now the new Supehero

Sharukh Khan will now shine in the list of superheros in India.The superstar will be seen playing the role of a flying superhero in the home production(Red Chillies) titled RaOne.Kareena Kapoor will be the lady love of the Superhero.The reports claim that the actress has finally agreed for the lead role provided some changes are made in the script and the length of her role is increased as she does not want to be known as the Khan’s Flop Queen.

Kareena Kapoor will be seen performing some interesting stunts besides flying and rescuing people.The shoot will begin end of this year in USA and will probably hit the cinemas in diwali 2010.

The two leading stars have appeared together in the movie Asoka in 2001which failed at the Box Office. After that Kareena has done only two item songs for SRK in Don and Billu Barbar.

SRK was original choice for Kurbaan

Shahrukh Khan – Tabu were the original choices for ‘Kurbaan’. Kurbaan would have become a much better cinematic experience with that kind of histrionic talent. Just the thought of an intense Shahrukh Khan playing this ardent lover of a gorgeous and traumatized Tabu would have been worth watching.

The duo who were last seen in a cameo in Saathiya would have evoked a better reaction from the audience in response to their characters portrayed.

Kareena Kapoor with her glamorous and plastic image isn’t the perfect choice for the role of a sensitive Muslim girl facing the trials and tribulations of life. Gone is the time when she had essayed the role of Dolly in Omkara with such conviction.

The ultra chic woman that she has metamorphosed into will surely clash with what she would like her fans to perceive her as. No offence, but Tabu would have delivered something phenomenal and mesmerized with that.

As for the face off between Saif and Shahrukh, there is no comparison. The “badshah” would have brought the sheer force of his magnetic personality to the movie and imbued the role with his trademark charm and intensity.

The pairing of SRK and Tabu is the dream of all connoisseurs of fine films.

Shah Rukh shoots with Shazahn Padamsee

Shazahn Padamsee who will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Shimit Amin directed film, Rocket Singh. Recently a fan cum co-star of SRK, Shazahn had shot for a commercial with him.

The young actress immensely elated at meeting SRK also got along with him instantly and they were seen having an animated discussion about director Shimit Amin.

One of SRK’s biggest hits was Chak De! India, which was directed by Shimit Amin and now Shazahn is making her acting debut in Shimit’s Rocket Singh. Shazahn is a huge fan of SRK who spoke about several interesting incidents while shooting Chak De! India.”

Commenting on her meeting with SRK, Shazahn said, “It was a dream-come-true for me. Shah Rukh is so humble and I have seen Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge at least 25 times and when I told him that, he gave me a bear hug and my day was made. We had a long discussion about how Shimit is always calm on the sets. We had a good laugh and I told SRK to watch my film and give me feedback about my performance.”

“I am so lucky that before I have turned 22, I have already shot with Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan,” she added.

SRK reminds Jermaine of Michael Jackson

The big name in Bollywood Shahrukh Khan is a great fan of the late Pop singer Michael Jackson. Jermaine Jackson who is currently touring India shooting for a song with Bollywood singer Adnan Sami was heard saying “I think Shahrukh Khan is simply great. Someone who has so much success and still is so humble. He reminds me of my brother Michael. He is so kind and so nice. He deserves everything in the world.”

Jermaine jackson was invited to Shahrukh’s Mannat for a party and Jermaine also said, “I loved Devdas and I loved the house shown in the movie. I thought it actually existed and enquired about it too. Then I was told that it was actually a built-up set.” These days SRK is busy shooting for his forthcoming flick My Name Is Khan opposite the very talented actress Kajol. Dulha Mil Gaya and Koochie Koochie Hota Hain are other upcoming films of the actor.

The highlight of the show Shah Rukh and Gauri walked down the ramp in style typical of a show like this and stood for a minute with Gauri keeping her hands on her husband’s shoulders before returning.

The unanimous view among Bollywood’s stars was that Gauri walked the ramp with élan and confidence even as they were wowed by Shah Rukh.

Shah Rukh Khan has been bestowed with so many awards, laurels and honours from long time. He is an internationally famous and widely known personality. His fans and admirers are present across the globe.

Shah Rukh Khan will now be the recipient of a special honour, conferred by the Korean government. Shah Rukh will be conferred with a Black Belt Honorary in Taekwondo. He will also be the ambassador of the Korean Culture and Tourism apart from that.

Delegates from the Korean government have landed in New Delhi and are scheduled to fly down to Mumbai. Shah Rukh, touched by the gesture, has agreed to be present at the ceremony to accept the honour.

Shah Rukh’s close friend reveals, “These developments took place a couple of weeks ago. SRK is mighty excited at this and feels modest that he is going to be the recipient of such a prestigious honour”.
